Golf Cart Rentals
Golf carts are one of the easiest ways to get around the Emerald Coast - perfect for beach trips, restaurant runs, and exploring 30A. Most of our properties have no restrictions and you can rent from any vendor. We recommend Street Legal Golf Carts for the best experience.
Sandestin® is a gated resort community that does not allow outside golf cart rentals. Guests cannot bring rented carts in from outside vendors during their stay. If your property is in Sandestin®, your rental will include a golf cart if one is provided - check your listing details.
The Preserve does not allow outside golf cart rentals. Guests may not bring in rented carts from outside vendors during their stay.
Beachside Villas requires guests to book through approved community vendors. Outside golf cart rentals are not permitted.
Outside rentals are allowed, but cart parking spaces are limited and must be reserved separately. Confirm parking availability with the Village before booking your cart.
Guests in a Cottage can park in the driveway. Guests in a Condominium must reserve a paid space behind the pool or use Overflow Parking.
Spaces rent in 7-day periods only, starting Saturday or Sunday. $50 per period. Stays longer than 7 days require two periods.
Call by 1:00 PM Wednesday before arrival. Reservations available up to 60 days in advance. Cart vendor delivers to your assigned slot on the start day.
Display cart tag by 3:00 PM Monday or risk towing. Licensed drivers only. 16 mph speed limit. No driving on lawns or sidewalks.
Bike Rentals
Biking is one of the best ways to experience 30A - the paved Timpoochee Trail runs nearly 19 miles along the coast. Outside bike rentals are permitted at most communities with the exception of Beachside Villas, which has its own approved vendors.
Outside bike rentals are permitted at Sandestin®. The general 30A vendors above all serve the area, and La Dolce Vita is a local in-resort option many guests use for delivery convenience.
Outside bike rentals are allowed, but bikes must be registered with the community office upon arrival and cannot be stored in the community bike racks. The community recommends keeping rental bikes inside your home. To skip the registration step, book through one of the community-approved vendors below.
Fishing Licenses
Anyone 16 or older needs a Florida fishing license to fish in saltwater or freshwater - including from the beach, piers, and bridges. Buy your license before you arrive at popular spots like Grayton Beach State Park or Topsail Hill Preserve State Park.

Non-resident short-term licenses (less than 1 year) are no longer sold online or at Walmart. They must be purchased in person at the Walton County Tax Collector office. Annual non-resident licenses are still available through GoOutdoorsFlorida.com.

Kayak Rentals
Western Lake, Eastern Lake, and the Choctawhatchee Bay are all paddler-friendly. We recommend Yellowfin Ocean Sports for kayak (and paddleboard) rentals, especially convenient for guests in our Seagrove and Blue Mountain Beach properties.
Offsite Parking
Most properties accommodate guest parking on-site, but if you're bringing extra vehicles, a boat, trailer, or RV, you'll likely need offsite parking. The right option depends on which area you're staying in.
Sandestin® does not allow motorcycle or RV parking within the resort, and has limits on additional vehicles, trailers, and similar items. Many of our guests use Geronimo RV Park for overflow parking - they accommodate extra cars, boats, trailers, RVs, and motorcycles.
